Revenue Read-only API key

RevenueCat + StatCrow

Mobile subscription MRR and revenue from RevenueCat.

Paste a v2 secret key with read-only chart permissions. StatCrow reads RevenueCat's charts and overview for one project. It never touches your configuration.

What we pull

What StatCrow reads from RevenueCat.

StatCrow reads daily charts and today's overview from one RevenueCat project with a read-only v2 secret key. We look. We never touch.

  • Monthly recurring revenue
  • Revenue
  • Active subscriptions
  • Churned subscriptions

Freshness: Same day.

  • RevenueCat charts can't be split by app, so one RevenueCat project maps to one StatCrow project.
  • The first sync pulls up to two years of daily history.
  • On a project with RevenueCat, subscription numbers come from RevenueCat, not App Store Connect, so nothing counts twice.

Setup

Create a read-only RevenueCat key.

revenuecat.setup

  1. 1Open the project in the RevenueCat dashboard.
  2. 2Go to Project settings, then API keys, and select New secret API key.
  3. 3Pick V2 as the API version. v1 keys don't work.
  4. 4Set charts and metrics to read only: charts_metrics:overview:read and charts_metrics:charts:read.
  5. 5Optional but handy: set project configuration to read only for projects and apps (project_configuration:projects:read and project_configuration:apps:read). Then you can skip the project ID. Leave every other permission off.
  6. 6Create the key, copy it and paste it below. It starts with sk_.
  7. 7Skipped the project configuration permissions? Copy the project ID from Project settings and paste it below.
  8. 8One key per RevenueCat project. How RevenueCat API keys work

Permissions to grant

  • charts_metrics:overview:read
  • charts_metrics:charts:read
  • project_configuration:projects:read (optional: finds the project ID for you)
  • project_configuration:apps:read (optional: lists the apps in the project)

FAQ

RevenueCat questions.

Which key do I need?

A v2 secret API key with charts_metrics:overview:read and charts_metrics:charts:read. Public SDK keys and v1 keys can't read charts.

Can I split one RevenueCat project across several StatCrow projects?

No. RevenueCat charts can't be split by app, so one RevenueCat project maps to one StatCrow project.

Will App Store revenue count twice?

No. On a project with RevenueCat, subscription numbers come from RevenueCat, not App Store Connect.

Can StatCrow change anything in my RevenueCat account?

StatCrow only sends read requests, and asks for read-only access wherever the provider supports it. Your credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown again after you save them.

How far back does RevenueCat history go?

Up to about two years, as far as RevenueCat allows. The Free plan keeps the last 90 days. Pro keeps everything.

How fresh are RevenueCat numbers?

Same day. The crow checks on a schedule and shows when each source last synced.

Do these numbers show as verified?

Yes, as long as the connection is healthy and synced recently. Stale connections lose the verified stamp.
