What we pull

What StatCrow reads from Google Analytics.

StatCrow reads daily visitors and pageviews for the GA4 properties you pick. Read-only. We hoard data, not your data.

  • Visitors
  • Pageviews

Freshness: Up to 2 days.

  • Visitors are GA4 active users. Pageviews are GA4 views.
  • Days follow the property's time zone, set in GA4 property settings.
  • GA4 takes up to 2 days to settle a day. The last 2 days show as provisional until it does.
  • Properties without a web data stream are listed but can't be mapped: there's no domain to check.

FAQ

Google Analytics questions.

Why does the domain have to match?

So nobody can borrow a bigger site's traffic. The property's web data stream URL must match the project's domain or the mapping is refused.

What counts as a visitor?

GA4 active users. Pageviews are GA4 views.

Why are the last two days provisional?

GA4 takes up to 2 days to settle a day. Those days update until Google finalizes them.

Can StatCrow change anything in my Google Analytics account?

StatCrow only sends read requests, and asks for read-only access wherever the provider supports it. Your credentials are encrypted at rest and never shown again after you save them.

How far back does Google Analytics history go?

Up to about two years, as far as Google Analytics allows. The Free plan keeps the last 90 days. Pro keeps everything.

How fresh are Google Analytics numbers?

Up to 2 days. The crow checks on a schedule and shows when each source last synced.

Do these numbers show as verified?

Yes, as long as the connection is healthy and synced recently. Stale connections lose the verified stamp.
